The excitement and nervousness of a new school year can cause us to be hyper focused on what is happening right now, today. I invite you to look forward to the end of the year - How would you like to feel at the end? What will you feel proud of? What will you count as the delights and accomplishments of this year?

Thinking ahead and imagining our gratitude and satisfaction at the end of the year can help us set out with intention and purpose today. We can avoid narrowing our vision to this week and instead keep an openness in our mind about the expansive possibilities of the year ahead.

It's not just today that matters and it's not just today that's going to make the difference. Let's take a big view of what we can accomplish this year.
