Tasks We Didn’t Know We Would Do as Entrepreneurs
The last two weeks have been full of learning about entrepreneurship tasks. Some expected, some less so.
Things we did in the last two weeks that we expected:
🔺 Plan and deliver two workshops about conflict resolution
🔺 Post ideas on Linkedin
🔺 Coach our clients
🔺 Have coffee meetings (virtual or IRL) to build relationships
🔺 Facilitate a coach upskilling session in school
🔺 Attend two planning meetings for the upcoming CoachUP conference (23 November!)
🔺 Send invoices
🔺 Prepare for an upcoming coach training course
Things we did in the last two weeks that we did not expect:
🔺 Create and print business cards and flyers for our workshops
🔺 Complete tax paperwork with the Singapore government
🔺 Dream with David Burke about an upcoming collaboration
🔺 Insert email authentication code for our domain so our messages don't get stuck in spam filters
🔺 Read an academic paper about the trends in international education in Asia
🔺 Turn down some work that turned out not to be a good fit
🔺 Bump into former students who want to know how our business is going (So joyful!)
What we are noticing is that the diversity of tasks is energising and keeps us learning.
🔺 What unexpected things are cropping up in your work lately?
